Promise 17: Be Honest, Hard Working, and Passionate about Representing the People

I have always been and will continue being honest and straight-forward with everyone. I will be available to listen to your concerns, gather all the information available, and then act for your and the cities best interest. I will stay very clear of any conflicts of interest.

Regarding hard work, I hope that my considerable time spent this year writing my website Promise articles shows you I am not going to be a B or C grade council person. I have attended most council and DDA meetings since moving to the city in early 2020, and many before that as a co-owner of Ability Weavers. If elected, this will be my first public office and I am going to give it my all. Nothing but an A grade effort is acceptable. I will put in the time and effort to make the citizens of Lowell glad they voted for me.

About being passionate, I will restate my story about the annual budget review meeting this past summer. I took an afternoon off work to observe how the council reviews and edits the budget. I was the only non-council person in the room. It was interesting to see how the council tries to deliver the best service for the citizens with limited funds. The next few years will have some large financial challenges. You should have someone passionate and detail oriented at work for your best interests. I aim to prove that I am the right person for the job. I would appreciate your vote on November 7. Thank you, Eric
