Diane Smith (Lafayette resident) is leading a citizen’s effort to help with the overgrowth of milfoil and curly leaf on the Flat (invasive weeds). She is planning a group meeting and fundraising in the near future.

Solitude Lake Management is one company that removes weeds with chemicals and mechanical raking. Rich Perry (Solitude’s representative and Lowell area resident) has quoted work which is discussed at the council meeting minutes below:
